Location: Spalding, Lincolnshire PE11

We are currently recruiting Fruit Production Operatives to join our busy and growing client based in Spalding. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, hardworking, and motivated individuals who enjoy working in a hands-on production environment.

Shift: Day shift 4 On 4 Off

Hours: 07:00 - 18:00 (Up to 12h shift)

Pay rate: £12.71 p/h (OT available after 48h £15.89 p/h)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sorting and Grading: Inspect fruits to remove damaged or defective produce and sort by size, variety, and quality.
  • Packing fruit into containers, punnets, or boxes according to specific company or customer specifications.
  • Labelling accurately packages with weight, batch codes, and product information.
  • General Duties: Handle, stack, and move boxes, sometimes requiring light lifting.
  • Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Managers or Supervisors.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Following health and safety regulations, such as wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).

Working Conditions and Requirements:

  • Climate-controlled environment.
  • Flexibility.
  • Good eye for detail.
  • Requires walking and standing for long periods.
  • Hours including weekends, and early mornings.

Required Skills:

  • Physical Fitness: Ability to pack and stand for long periods.
  • Previous experience in similar role is advantageous but not necessary.
