The Staffing Network is a Labour Provider across the UK. Our Client has an immediate requirement for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team at Spalding. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role will involve responsibility for maintaining a wide range of refrigeration, mechanical and electrical equipment and optimizing/monitoring plant performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate as part of the Maintenance team to deliver support for operations.
- Carry out all work keeping safety, quality, and output to the fore.
- Deliver with the other Maintenance team members a reliable centred maintenance function with best practices including preventative maintenance.
- Work within the Maintenance team to ensure a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance data and close out assigned work using the CMMS.
Qualifications:
- Electrical/Mechatronic Time served Apprenticeship with junior or senior trade qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working in facilities and in a cold store environment.
- Ability to apply engineering principles in a practical application.
Core hours of work: 08.30 to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, 8.30 to 4.00PM and weekends on a rota basis.
Pay is based around a salary of £46,000 but paid hourly approx £19 per hour based on a 48 hour week. Any on-call out of hours or overtime is paid.
