New HGV Driver Bonus: £150 after 4 weeks work based on 40 hours minimum each week worked. Total of 160 hours or 20 shifts.
The Staffing Network is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work in Fareham. This role offers various shift patterns & Ad-hoc work with various start times available.
Your Time at Work
- As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be responsible for:
- Nationwide deliveries and collections for many customers
- Trunking, store deliveries, or RDC runs (depending on the role)
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and report defects correctly. Applicants will comply with on-site health and safety requirements. You will understand and be able to comply with the driver's hours and WTD legislation.
You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points and no DD/DR Code convictions.
