Our client is a leading manufacturer of construction components and fittings within the UK. Due to continual growth they are looking to recruit an experienced Toolsetter to work between its facilities in the Dudley & Worcester areas.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Setting and changing progression tooling inline with production requirements.
- Assist supervisor in shift organisation and take the lead when required.
- Ensure proper shift handover to other setter and relay any quality issues.
- Help supervision by making tool and coil changes.
- Perform inspection and test duties.
- Ensure tool-room is informed of any tooling defects via handover.
- Ensure any defective product and associated wide coil are segregated and kept away from free issue stock.
- To proactively coil feed, make product size and tool changes inline with production requirements.
Applicants must have minimum 5 years previous tool setting experience ideally on progression machines, be ROSPA trained and hold current Counterbalance FLT licence. A Reach FLT and Crane licence would be a big advantage.
Hours of work will be days between 07.00am and 19.00pm. Starting hourly rate will be £17.12 per hour.
