The predicted salary is between 14 - 16 £ per hour.
Our client is a leading manufacturer of construction components within the UK. Due to increasing product demand, they are looking to recruit an experienced FLT driver and material handler to join its established team in the Dudley area with the view to moving to its brand new facility in Worcester late 2026.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Use a FLT Counterbalance to load and unload deliveries and move materials into the warehouse and deal with associated paperwork.
- Assist with movement of finished product to warehouse using FLT counterbalance.
- Load / unload steel coils using overhead crane.
- Remove banding and packaging from coils and dispose of safely.
- Banding and strapping of unused raw materials from Press lines.
- Ensure production lines are fully stocked with raw materials.
Applicants must have previous experience within an engineering environment and hold the following licences:
- FLT Counterbalance (6 tonne) - Essential
- Overhead / pendant crane licence - Essential
- Raw material / stock control experience - Essential
- FLT Reach licence - Beneficial
Hours of work will be days between 07.00am and 19.00pm. Starting hourly rate will be £14.84.
