The Staffing Network are looking for a reliable and professional Gatehouse Operator to join our team in Nottingham.
Main Duties:
- Remain in a parked vehicle at the gatehouse entrance during your shift.
- Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing vehicle traffic.
- Control access to the site by checking and authorising vehicles as required.
- Maintain an orderly flow of traffic and help prevent congestion.
- Communicate with drivers in a polite and professional manner.
- Report any incidents, unauthorised access attempts, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Keep accurate records of vehicle movements where required.
- Follow all site procedures and health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Good communication and observation skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Calm and professional approach when dealing with drivers and visitors.
- Previous gatehouse, security, or traffic management experience is desirable but not essential, as training may be provided.
- You must have a full UK Drivers Licence and held this for more than 2 years.
