We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our team in Bexhill-on-Sea.
The role involves driving a 12-tonne food waste collection vehicle and carrying out commercial food waste collections safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a Class 2 (Category C) 12-tonne food waste collection vehicle.
- Carry out commercial food waste collections in a safe and efficient manner.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is maintained to a high standard.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and waste collection guidelines.
- Complete relevant paperwork and comply with tachograph regulations.
- Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles is preferred.
- Good understanding of road safety and compliance requirements.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
