The Staffing Network Ltd is a leading staffing provider supplying staff to clients across the UK. We are looking to recruit an experienced Plate Saw operator to work at our clients facility in Aldridge.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Operate relevant machinery at Service Centre (this may include bar saw, guillotine, plate saw, coating machine).
  • Keep all machinery in a clean and well maintained condition and ensure that it is operating safely.
  • Process material in the most efficient way by minimising waste whilst meeting customer specification and quality requirements.
  • Plan order of jobs to meet agreed lead times.

Applicants must have Saw operating experience within a steel environment as only minimal site training will be given.

Hours will be 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday for the first month of training then will transfer to night shift 8pm to 4am Sunday to Thursday.

Hourly rate will be £13.50 to £15.50 per hour.
