We are looking for a Senior Analyst with deep expertise in Commercial Pharma operations and a strong understanding of AI-driven analytics solutions. This role will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and AI/BI solution architects to drive data modernisation, intelligent automation, and advanced insights across commercial functions. The candidate will play a strategic role in shaping how AI augments decision-making, operational efficiency, and reporting within the organization.

Key Result Areas and Activities:

  • Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering: Engage with business stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Patient Services to identify analytical needs, automation opportunities, process gaps and data gaps. Provides subject matter expertise on Commercial Pharma data. Identifies data gaps and defines the target-state business data approach. Translate complex business objectives into clear, structured requirements for AI, BI, and Data Engineering teams. Conduct workshops to gather requirements and understand business challenges.
  • Data and Analytics Solutioning: Work closely with Data Engineering teams on data ingestion, warehouse design, and model readiness for both BI and AI workloads. Participate in the design of semantic layers and feature stores to standardise reusable AI features across use cases. Review and sign off on Power BI dashboards, AI model outputs, and integrated analytics reports.
  • Governance and Change Management: Define and maintain governance frameworks, including RACI, SLAs, communication plans, and data quality protocols. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and pharma data regulations. Facilitate UAT, training sessions, and user adoption for new AI-driven tools and reporting workflows.
  • AI and Advanced Analytics Integration: Collaborate with Business and/or Data Science teams to define use cases for forecasting, segmentation, churn prediction, and dynamic targeting. Partner with the Engineering teams to integrate AI-powered insights into BI dashboards. Drive adoption of self-service AI capabilities that empower business users to query, visualise, and derive insights without technical intervention.

Work and Technical Experience:

  • Strong functional knowledge and experience in data and analytics.
  • Strong Pharma Commercials experience.
  • Ability to collaborate with business product owners and users to understand data and analytics requirements for Commercial business areas.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodology and ability to convert business requirements into implementation-ready Epics and user stories.
  • Hands‑on knowledge with data querying, data mining, reporting and analytics will be a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must Have:

  • Strong functional knowledge and experience in data and analytics.
  • Strong Pharma Commercials experience, especially with knowledge around Drug Launch for the European Geography.
  • Ability to collaborate with business product owners and users to understand data and analytics requirements for Commercial business areas.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodology and ability to convert business requirements into implementation-ready Epics and user stories.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Tools: Power BI, Snowflake, Oracle DB, SQL, Microsoft Office suite.

Good To Have:

  • Knowledge of Cortex.
  • Hands‑on knowledge with data querying, data analysis and reporting will be a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Demonstrated continued learning through one or more technical certifications or related methods.
  • 9-11 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
