We\’re looking for a hungry, go-getting junior multimedia reporter to cover business and technology at The Stack.
We\’re seeking someone to create content across formats — from news articles and longer form interviews, to video segments and potentially your own regular feature slots or podcasts.
This role offers a front-row seat to innovation, including travel to major international industry conferences and events to report on groundbreaking developments and connect with industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Researching, reporting, and writing articles across the cybersecurity, cloud, and broader enterprise technology space. (No deep technical capabilities required, but insatiable curiosity and a willingness to learn…)
- Producing multimedia content, such as video interviews.
- Attending and covering industry conferences and events, often internationally.
- Conducting interviews with key figures in the enterprise technology sector, including Chief Technology Officers and Chief Information Security Officers.
- Collaborating with the editorial team to identify emerging trends and craft impactful stories.

Requirements
- A strong interest in business and enterprise technology
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
- A willingness to learn and openness to feedback
- Basic familiarity with multimedia production (e.g., video or audio editing)
- Confidence in networking and interviewing key stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel for reporting assignments, including conferences and events.
- NCTJ and at least one year of experience preferred.
