We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists during patient treatments, ensuring a smooth and efficient clinical environment.   • Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials.
  • Providing excellent patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing concerns throughout treatment.
  • Maintaining strict infection control protocols and sterilising equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Preparing treatment rooms before appointments and cleaning after procedures.
  • Managing patient records accurately using IT systems, including updating personal details and treatment notes.
  • Providing post-treatment advice and instructions to patients.
  • Supporting administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient communications, and organising clinic supplies.
  • Ensuring the clinical environment remains organised, hygienic, and welcoming at all times.
  • Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare setting, ideally in dentistry or nursing.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Good IT skills for maintaining electronic health records and appointment scheduling systems.
  • Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilisation procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative independently.
  • A recognised qualification in nursing or dental nursing is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
