Salary: £30,000-£32,000 negotiable depending on experience.

Full-time and permanent position working a 40-hour week. This is an incredible opportunity to work at The St Andrews Golf Club, established in 1843, in an iconic location overlooking the famous Old Course.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and focused Chef who works well alone and as part of a strong and talented team. Requirements:

  • Proven previous, relevant experience in this role (minimum 2 years)
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of established techniques
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and committed
  • Ability to work on your own at times

Responsibilities:

  • Working under and reporting to the Golf Club’s Sous Chef
  • Deliver first-class food service with new menus set by the Head Chef/Sous Chef
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage supplies
  • Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness
  • Strictly adhere to food safety standards
  • Take ownership of tasks set by the Head Chef/Sous Chef
