The Spotted Dog is a traditional inn dating back to the early 1800s in the oldest parts of the building, situated on the County Durham/North Yorkshire border. Over the years, the pub has been extended and refurbished to create the modern country pub that we have today. Since 2022, we have been undergoing an extensive amount of re-design and re-build to make the pub what it is today, beautifully refurbished while keeping its traditional characteristics and being up to date with modern décor.
