Your role
From the outset, you will be involved working on projects within the TSC’s consulting services portfolio, with a specialisation within the Strategy & Growth team. This team leads TSC’s work in strategy and business planning, investor advisory, IP development, operating model commercial optimisation and host advisory. This includes working directly with clients within small, highly strategic, project teams. It will include research, production of written deliverables, presentations and considerable day-to-day client interaction. You will also be leading and managing business development activities, scoping work, designing methodologies and completing client proposals.
Your roles and responsibilities
- Developing strong relationships across internal teams to drive collaboration and company growth.
- Working with the team to design and produce high-quality deliverables to reflect and exceed client needs, including internal and public-facing reports, business cases, commercial models and other deliverables to meet client needs.
- Taking direct day-to-day responsibility for project managing engagements and managing peer level client relationships, ensuring projects are delivered on time and in scope.
- Thinking creatively and innovatively to develop solutions for clients and presenting information to clients and potential partners in an accessible manner.
- Taking a commercial approach to our work, applying a sound and broad understanding of the sports industry and the revenue streams that our clients depend on.
- Using an evidenced based approach to deliver a succinct argument to clients, particularly in fast-moving and changing contexts.
- Leading the development of proposals that articulate our thorough and creative response to client needs and communicates our suitability for the work, using our case studies, team and insight.
- Supporting and contributing to business development conversations with peer and senior clients.
- Comfortable presenting information in person and facilitating client discussion.
- Managing junior team members and providing clear feedback to improve and enhance their work, including proactive coaching and mentoring.
- Contributing to the wider business and practice development objectives of the firm.
- Working closely with the Director of the team and ensure company and department targets are met.
- Introducing and managing new relationships into the business in collaboration with internal / external stakeholders.

Your skills and experience
- Educated to degree level at 2:1 or above
- Strong commercial modelling skills, supported by a strong use of excel
- Ability to use PowerPoint to communicate complex messages in digestible form
- Strong understanding of the sports industry and its growth dynamics
- Strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Ability to communicate to people at all levels, across different mediums
- Enjoys working at pace against tight deadlines, be self-motivated and disciplined
