Experienced Curry Chef – Small Indian Takeaway (Edgware)
We are a busy Indian takeaway in Edgware looking for a skilled and reliable Curry Chef to join our kitchen team.
Hours: 4:00pm – 11:00pm, 6 days per week (Monday off)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook traditional Indian dishes including chicken curry, lamb curry, daals, rice, and other menu items.
- Follow our established recipes and cooking methods to ensure consistency and quality.
- Cook in bulk while maintaining high standards of flavour and presentation.
- Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards are met in the kitchen.
- Work as part of a small, dedicated team to deliver excellent service.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years\’ experience working as a chef in an Indian restaurant or takeaway.
- Proven ability to prepare authentic Indian curries and bulk cooking.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
