We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and customer-focused HR Administrator to join our Central HR Team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of professional and efficient HR services across our Multi Academy Trust. Working closely with colleagues, academy HR leads and employees, you will play a vital role in ensuring our HR processes run smoothly and that staff receive excellent service throughout their employment journey.

Experience of supporting recruitment, onboarding, probation, contractual changes, payroll and leaver processes and maintaining employee data would be advantageous. If you have strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

Acting as a first point of contact for routine HR queries, as a HR Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across all areas of the employee lifecycle, helping to deliver a responsive and effective HR service to our Central Team and across our academies.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous administration experience, ideally within HR, People or a related function.
  • Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Has strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and database systems.
  • Can manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information professionally.
  • Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Is committed to delivering outstanding customer service.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience of providing administrative support in a busy office environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently with confidential information.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience working in HR, recruitment or education.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and processes.
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or willingness to work towards it.
  • Understanding of safer recruitment practices.
