We are looking for a forward thinking and enthusiastic GP to join our Friendly Training Practice in North Finchley.

Number of sessions/days flexible 4-6 per week/negotiable

Salary per session negotiable

MDU paid by practice

6 weeks Annual Leave (pro rata)

1 week Study leave (pro rata)

No non-NHS work

Docman light - clinical screener/blocked admin time

Low Home visiting and access to Rapid Response team

No EPS signing

Free onsite parking

Teaching/ Supervision opportunities

Main duties of the job

  • To provide clinical care to all patients (general medical service) including duty doctor sessions
  • To provide clinical administrative care for patients (results, letters, prescription queries)
  • To adhere to the highest personal and professional standards as set out by the GMC and to put individual patient care as your priority.
  • Working with the Practice Manager and GP Principals to support the development, delivery and review of the surgery action.

List size of approximately 12,800 patients, with a CQC rating of Good across all domains.

Strong, multidisciplinary team including:

  • 2 Practice Nurses
  • 1 HC Physiotherapist
  • Paramedic
  • GP Trainees, FY2 Doctors, and Nurse Trainees

Job responsibilities

The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
