Role Overview

We’re looking for a dynamic and highly organised Event Manager to lead the planning and delivery of all internal and external events across the business. This role sits at the heart of our company culture, working in the Sales & Marketing team and closely with the People Team to create memorable experiences that bring our brand, values, and people to life. You’ll be the go‑to person for event logistics, stakeholder coordination, and on‑the‑day execution—ensuring every event runs smoothly and reflects the energy and creativity of our media‑sector environment.

Requirements

  • Event Planning & Delivery
    • Coordinate external events (industry conferences, client events, brand activations, networking sessions).
    • Lead the end‑to‑end planning of internal events (all company meetings, socials, team offsites, celebrations).
    • Manage event logistics including venues, suppliers, catering, AV, travel, and schedules.
    • Attend events to ensure seamless delivery and act as the on‑site point of contact.
    • Manage the physical environment of a pitch—room layout, staging, supporting materials and any other requirements the sales and marketing team require —to maximise impact and persuasion.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Partner with the Sales & Marketing Team to support client‑led events, content opportunities, and external representation.
    • Work closely with the People Team to design culture‑building initiatives and employee experiences.
    • Liaise with senior stakeholders to understand objectives and translate them into well‑executed plans.
    • Act as the primary point of contact on the day of internal and external events or pitches, managing ad‑hoc requests and ensuring smooth delivery.
  • Project & Administration
    • Maintain the annual events calendar and ensure alignment across teams.
    • Track budgets, negotiate supplier rates, and manage invoices.
    • Produce post‑event reports, feedback summaries, and recommendations for improvement.
    • Support internal communications related to events and culture initiatives.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in events, culture, internal communications, or office experience—ideally within the media sector.
  • Strong organisational and project‑management skills.
  • Confident communicator who can build relationships at all levels.
  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced, creative environments.
  • Hands‑on, proactive, and willing to roll up your sleeves on event days.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and stay calm under pressure.

Working Pattern

Hybrid working (3 days per week in the London office) or additional days to cover events. Flexibility required for early mornings, evenings, or travel for events.

Benefits

We provide an exciting, fast paced, people first environment that allows everyone to grow, learn and thrive. We work a 9-day fortnight, meaning staff have every other Friday off! We’ve built a benefits package that invests in our employees’ long-term personal and professional growth and wellbeing.
