Role Overview
We are looking for an AV Executive to join our broadcast team, working alongside the AV Manager in planning, buying and running TV advertising campaigns on behalf of our clients. You will have 1-2 years' experience, probably in an entry level AV or media planning/buying role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day co-ordination and administration of several accounts
- Support the AV Manager by creating daily advertising schedules
- Attend client and supplier meetings
- Enhance your knowledge of the TV marketplace and other media channels
- Be the primary point of contact for all internal and external parties in relation to your accounts
- Be aware and responsible for clients spend versus available credit and pre-payments
- Run daily reports of live advertising campaigns and present findings to clients
- Build and maintain media owner/supplier/client relationships
- Negotiate with media owners and sales houses to protect trading rates and service levels
- Manage reconciliation with TV Sales Houses
What We’re Looking For
- At least 12 months' experience of planning and buying in one or more media channel
- Great understanding of media terminology and concepts
- Experience of media buying processes and client service
- Ability to multi-task across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Pro-active approach in growing clients' spend and sourcing new opportunities
- Experience of working with external stakeholders to deliver multiple projects
- Experience in systems such as Media Ocean, Concept or similar accounting software
Working Conditions
A minimum of 3 days per week in the office. May require some travel to meet with clients or attend industry events on an ad-hoc basis.
