The Role
As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our thriving team. Your mission is to provide essential support to our solicitors while prioritising exceptional client care, and importantly for you, learning and furthering your career.
In this multifaceted role within our Support Team, you'll handle:
- Legal Administration: Diarise limitations and directions. Draft subject access requests and amend documents with client input and send out. Liaise with Employment Tribunals, chambers and counsel and legal expenses insurers. Preparing documents for Counsel and manage document disclosure. Draft basic letters before action; proofread and amend documents. Handle Subject Access Request (SAR) documentation and pagination. Cost legal expense insurance files. Handle file closures and internal processes.
- Client Care: Provide clients with high quality advice. Prepare and send client care letters. Liaise with clients, draft medical record requests and authorities, and send them out. Keep clients informed about their case and address queries. Managing the distribution of settlement agreements to be signed by clients. Converting invoices into signed electronic versions and sending to clients.
- New Enquiries: Handle and manage new enquiries. Arrange appointments. Dealing with AML and opening file procedures.
You will be there to keep the clients happy. Your learning and development will be off the scale.
