ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a confident, creative individual to become the face and voice of our blinds manufacturing brand. This is a unique opportunity for someone who loves being on camera, has a knack for storytelling, and wants the freedom to bring their own ideas to life with support of the marketing team. You’ll be based at (or within easy commuting distance of) our factory in Ashford, Kent, with regular access to our products, production processes, showroom, and team to create authentic, engaging content. This role is offered on a flexible basis, you’re free to take on other freelance or content work alongside this position, as long as it doesn’t conflict with our brand.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Filming, presenting, and appearing in video content across social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
- Editing your own footage to a high standard, ready for publishing.
- Generating your own content ideas from product showcases and factory tours to trends, tutorials, and behind-the-scenes footage.
- Collaborating with our marketing department on campaign themes, product launches, and seasonal content.
- Building a recognisable on-screen presence that represents our brand values
- Staying on top of social media trends and adapting content formats accordingly
- Occasionally attending events, trade shows, or filming on-site at customer locations
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Comfortable and confident on camera with a natural presenting style
- Proven ability to film and edit your own videos (please share examples/portfolio)
- Strong creative instincts and ability to generate original content ideas
- Based within reasonable commuting distance of Ashford, Kent
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
- Good understanding of social media platforms and what makes content perform
- Experience creating content for a brand, business, or personal channel
- Knowledge of home interiors, DIY, or lifestyle content
- Basic photography skills for stills content
- Existing social media following (though not essential we’re more interested in talent and consistency)
