We are currently looking for an Apprentice Scaffolder to join TEAL Scaffold, part of The Sovini Group. If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic, keen to learn and grow, whether you have previous scaffolding experience or are looking to transfer your skills from another sector, we want to hear from you. At TEAL Scaffold we believe in potential over experience and are committed to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, fostering a supportive workplace where everyone is valued. This position is a Fixed Term Contract for 18 months.
Responsibilities
- Assist qualified scaffolders with the erection, alteration, and dismantling of scaffolding structures including Pasma
- Load, unload and transport scaffolding materials and equipment around site
- Always follow instructions from supervisors and experienced scaffolders
- Ensure scaffolding components are used correctly and stored safely
- Carry out basic checks on equipment before use
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe work area in the yard and on site
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and site rules
- Wear and look after personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Attend apprenticeship training, college days or assessments as required
- Develop skills and knowledge in line with apprenticeship standards
- On-the-job training with experienced scaffolders
- Regular assessments to build skills and progress through apprenticeship levels

Qualifications & Skills
