We are currently looking for an Independent Living Officer to join One Vision Housing at The Sovini Group. Responsibilities
- Be responsible for managing the Independent Living Service in a designated area by delivering intensive housing management, which encompasses the five key outcomes identified on the housing action plan.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
- Full driving licence and use of car for work.
- Prepared to attend evening meetings and be flexible where appropriate.
- Educated to CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing Practice or willingness to learn.
- Understanding of safeguarding and vulnerable groups.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage own workload without direct supervision.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Good standard of ICT literacy and confidence to use Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel daily.
- Excellent communication skills, able to communicate across multiple channels including Microsoft Teams, face‑to‑face and email.

Advantageous but Not Essential
- Experience of liaising with social, medical and care agencies.
- Previous experience of housing management.
- Knowledge of housing legislation.

- Competitive salary – £28,195.21
- Hours – 36 per week (Monday‑Friday)
