The Sourdough is a creative studio based in Peckham, South London. We do the branding, design and messaging for science and tech startups around the world. We are hiring an intern for a short-term, part-time role over the summer. If you can commute into London, have a cool portfolio and an interest in shaping what the future looks like, then we’d love to hear from you.
The Role:
- Experience life working in a small creative studio: learn about branding, web design, and the world of startups.
- Contribute directly to exciting client-facing projects: try your hand at crafting professional logos, illustrations, animations and graphics.
- Help with the less shiny but essential stuff: laying out presentations, checking alignments, proof-reading.
- Learn about the frontier of science and technology: help us with research, moodboards and listen in on client briefings and discovery calls.
Details:
- Employment type: Freelance, 3 days a week.
- Timing: Variable. Happy to work around your plans. Likely to be between 2 weeks and 2 months.
- Pay: Minimum wage for your age band. You must have the right to work in the UK.
- Location: Our office is in Peckham Levels, London, SE15.

- Real interest in science and technology.
- Exceptional ability in one or several visual disciplines: graphics, illustrations, animation, photography, video.
- Confidence in learning new skills and dealing with complex subjects.
