We are a small team of five working on-site in Peckham Levels, South-East London.
The Job
We are looking for a new junior designer to support and work with our team. Most of our work is in branding, web design and presentation design for science companies and tech startups.
This isn’t a specialist role. Being a small studio that works with fast-moving companies means that everyone has to do a few different things.
The best way of describing the role is as a ‘digital designer’, but depending on the person, that could stretch to also including working on copywriting or web development.
At first you will likely be supporting the team on delivering client-ready assets before growing to taking on briefs of your own.

Our designers typically start on a £30k salary, but we’d expect that to increase within the first year.
We’re open to part-time or full-time arrangements. You would work on-site at least 3 or 4 days a week.
You must have the right to work in the UK.
Requirements
- Excellent taste: A beautiful portfolio of top quality branding or design work.
- Technical confidence: Ability and fluency with contemporary design tools (minimum proficiency in Figma & Adobe Suite).
- Intellectual curiosity: A desire to work on hard problems with the world’s smartest scientists and entrepreneurs.
Bonus if you have any
- Experience as a professional designer
- Experience or academic background in science or tech
- Strong writing & communications skills
- Coding or creative computing experience
