Laser Applications Engineer Worcester Sales Support & Technical Demonstration A leading name in high-tech manufacturing machinery is looking for a Laser Applications Engineer to join their UK Sales Support team. This is a dynamic, hands-on role ideal for someone with a background in CNC laser machining who enjoys working with cutting-edge tech, engaging with customers, and supporting the sales process. Role Overview: * Plan and deliver laser machine demos at trade shows, customer sites, and internal events * Run in-depth control and CAM software demonstrations * Support pre-sales conversations and technical proposal stages * Provide operator training (CAM programming, NC controls, usage) * Liaise with sales and service teams to ensure seamless customer experience * Stay current with developments in CAD/CAM, automation, and cutting strategies Key Skills & Experience: * Strong experience in CNC laser machining and cutting * Solid understanding of CAD/CAM systems and various cutting strategies * Comfortable with a wide range of materials and thicknesses * Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Desirable: * HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering * Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship * Experience with tube laser systems and automation is a plus What’s On Offer: * Company car (electric), laptop, and mobile * Overtime pay and private healthcare * Pension scheme * Technical training and support * Opportunity to represent at international exhibitions and product launches
