We have an opportunity for a high performing Strategic Account Executive with several years' retail sector sales experience, to join a fast growing UK/EMEA team. The company delivers solutions to leading grocery and speciality retailers that drive productivity, improve workforce engagement and reduce costs. Capitalising on a recent round of investment and with a strategy for rapid expansion backed by a comprehensive range of solutions, this is a fantastic opportunity to win new business and develop existing accounts whilst achieving six figure rewards. Guide is £200k OTE uncapped including £100k guaranteed base. Remote based in the UK with frequent travel to meetings and events.
This is a pivotal role for a senior sales professional who understands the nuances of retail store operations. The solution suite includes:
- Workforce Management including labour planning, budgeting and scheduling
- Store Execution including task management and employee communication
- Fresh operations including demand driven production planning, waste reduction, fresh inventory replenishment and food safety and compliance
The Role
This is a hybrid Hunter / Farmer position. You will lead complex sales cycles (6 to 12 months) with C suite stakeholders and multi level contacts, whilst expanding the value of existing accounts. £1.4m ARR revenue target.
- New Business: Develop and close deals with enterprise retailers - new logos - £300k to £1m ARR deal size
- Account Growth: manage a set of existing strategic accounts utilising the wide suite of product offerings to drive significant additional revenues
- Strategic orchestration: lead a methodical sales process, co-ordinating with presales Solutions Consultants, Marketing, BDRs and sales leadership to demonstrate how the platform optimises retail efficiency, productivity and success
The Person
- You will be a senior consultative salesperson with a track record of closing six figure deals
- Experience: proven success in complex, multi level SaaS sales into the Retail Sector is essential
- Domain knowledge: with Retail Operations familiarity is essential and in particular any of Labour Planning, Scheduling, Budgeting, Workforce Management, Fresh Ops, Fresh Inventory Management or Task Management, Store Execution
- Connections: well connected with contacts in many major UK/ European Retail organisations
- Mindset: you have a hunter mentality but the strategic approach to navigate long enterprise sales cycles
- Location: UK, home based convenient for UK wide travel, some European travel, to meetings and events
