About the Role
An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic technical sales team as a Key Account Manager focused on composites and associated chemical materials. This home-based role covers the UK with a particular focus on the aerospace and defence manufacturing sectors.
We’re looking for a driven, consultative sales professional with strong knowledge of composite materials, customer account management, and a technical mindset to support clients from proposal to post-sale.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow sales revenue and market share in aerospace and advanced manufacturing sectors
- Build, manage, and retain strategic customer relationships
- Act as a technical advisor on composite materials, adhesives, and chemical solutions
- Regular UK-wide travel to client sites, trade shows, and company locations
- Create tailored proposals, presentations, and quotations to win business
- Maintain accurate CRM and market intelligence on key accounts
- Collaborate closely with operations and customer service to ensure quality delivery
About You
- Strong working knowledge of composite materials and their applications in aerospace
- Experience managing technical sales cycles or key accounts
- Familiar with industry regulations, environmental standards, and specifications
- Comfortable working autonomously with a self-starter attitude
- Confident presenting to engineers, buyers, and senior stakeholders
