We are looking to recruit new trustees to our board and help support our charity's work of bringing creative opportunities to communities of young people who often face barriers to access. At The Sound Lab, we believe that ‘music matters’ and that music and creativity should not just be available for those who can readily access and afford it; it should be available to everyone. Our vision is that everyone should have equal access to the resources and support they need to fulfil their creative potential, and our work focuses on children and young people who often do not receive the same opportunities as their peers, specifically care experienced young people; children with disabilities; and young people from an unaccompanied, asylum-seeking or refugee background. Your part in this will be to help develop and grow our charity so that we can meet the rising demand for our work.

What will you be doing?
We are looking to recruit additional trustees to our small, committed board, in order to grow and support our infrastructure. No musical experience is required. Instead, we are particularly looking for additional expertise in the following areas:

- Corporate fundraising
- Individual giving fundraising
