Are you an experienced Duty Manager with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service? Would you love the opportunity to live and work in one of Scotland's most beautiful locations? Then we're looking for Duty Managers to join our team at Duisdale House Hotel and Toravaig House Hotel on the beautiful Isle of Skye.

We offer both full-time and seasonal positions, with flexible contract lengths. Live-in accommodation is available for the right candidate.

About Us: The Sonas Collection is an award winning, family owned and operated business, comprised of four boutique period properties that have been wonderfully renovated and cared for. Our main purpose is to deliver warm "Highland Hospitality" to our guests, create great opportunities for our employees and make a difference in our local rural communities. More About the Role: As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding service and ensuring smooth daily operations. You'll be responsible for leading shifts, overseeing guest check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring that the highest service standards are met across all areas of the hotel and coaching our colleagues. This is a hands-on role, and you'll be working closely with senior management to continuously improve guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Working pattern of 45 hours per week, based on 5 days from 7.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the team during shifts, ensuring excellent customer service is maintained at all times.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth coordination between departments.
  • Ensure that housekeeping, maintenance, and front-of-house areas meet high standards.
  • Support the training and development of staff to maintain a motivated and effective team.
