You will recruit and build your own founding team of eight, set the commercial and cultural standard from day one, and lead the showroom through opening and beyond. It is a genuine business ownership role, not a caretaker one.
What you will be doing:
- Recruiting, coaching and developing a high performing showroom team from scratch
- Owning showroom sales performance, budgets and commercial results
- Leading from the front on the floor, personally driving sales through a consultative approach
- Setting high standards while building a positive, customer obsessed culture
- Partnering with visual merchandising on showroom presentation and changeovers
- Overseeing stock, inventory accuracy and the end to end customer journey
What we are looking for:
- A genuine player coach, visible on the floor and strong at holding a team accountable
- Proven retail leadership, ideally within premium or luxury environments
- Commercial fluency and confidence owning showroom performance and P&L
- Experience in premium furniture, interiors or considered purchase retail is highly attractive, although exceptional leaders from other premium environments are welcome
- New store opening experience is a strong advantage
Interviews are moving quickly, with an ideal start in early October ahead of the November opening. If you have not received a response within 3 working days unfortunately in this instance you have not been successful.
