We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join a well-established M&E and building services contractor operating throughout London and the South East. This position involves a mix of installation, maintenance, and refurbishment work within commercial environments. A large proportion of the work will be carried out at a major client site in the Farnborough area, with additional projects located across London and the South East.

Responsibilities

  • Electrical installation, maintenance, and fault finding on commercial refurbishment projects
  • Working on a variety of tasks including replacement of distribution boards, cabling, lighting, power, and accessories
  • Assisting other trades on larger projects and being flexible in daily responsibilities
  • Managing your workload independently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
  • Working mostly on commercial sites, with occasional larger project work, requiring travel throughout the South East and London

Candidates must be self‑motivated, confident, flexible, and reliable, with strong time management skills. Due to client site requirements, security clearance will be required (UK residency for at least 2 years & clean criminal record).

  • £35,000+ (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation
  • BS7671 qualification up to date
  • Proven experience in commercial electrical work
  • Confident working independently and making on‑site decisions
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • 2391 Testing
  • EV charging installation experience
  • CSCS card
  • First Aid, PASMA, IPAF certifications
  • Knowledge of London and the M25 area is advantageous
