This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to take ownership of complex steel design projects from initial concept through to completion. Key Responsibilities: * Create detailed fabrication drawings, general arrangement (GA) drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using Tekla Structures * Develop accurate 3D models for both structural and architectural steelwork projects * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and fabrication teams to ensure designs meet project specifications * Prepare detailed drawings for design approval and assist in client reviews as required * Produce cutting lists, material take-offs, and assembly drawings for the fabrication workshop * Identify and resolve any potential design issues to maintain accuracy and project efficiency * Maintain accurate documentation and drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle * Ensure all work adheres to industry standards, client specifications, and company procedures Requirements: * Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a Draughtsman in the steel industry * Expert proficiency in Tekla Structures software * Strong knowledge of both structural and architectural steelwork * Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings * Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders * Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations Desirable: * Experience with other drafting tools such as AutoCAD * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Problem-solving skills and proactive approach to design challenges If you are a talented Tekla Draughtsman looking for your next career move, I would love to hear from you, please apply with your CV
