I’m looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established structural steelwork company based near Luton. This role will be primarily office-based with regular site visits, overseeing the delivery and management of structural steel projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day site operations
- Manage subcontractors and site teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with health and safety regulations
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients
- Monitor progress, manage schedules, and ensure deadlines are met
- Conduct regular site inspections and report on quality and compliance
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Site Manager within the structural steel industry
- Strong knowledge of all site operations and safety procedures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple teams across different sites
Mandatory Certifications:
- SMSTS certificate
- CSCS card (or equivalent)
- Safety at Heights / Harness Certificate
- CPCS card (Slinger/Signaller)
- IPAF MEWP PAL+ Operators Licence
- Competency in use and changing of Abrasive Wheels
- Alloy Towers Certificate
- Full UK Driving Licence
