I’m working with a successful and growing cladding and roofing business who are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their expanding team. This is a full-time, permanent role and offers remote working, making it open to applicants based anywhere in the UK.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating and proven experience specifically within the cladding and roofing sector. You’ll be responsible for the full estimating process – from initial enquiry through to final submission – and play a key role in supporting the business’s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately estimate costs for cladding and roofing projects
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Prepare detailed take-offs and bills of quantities
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
• Support the commercial and project teams with technical input and pricing strategies
• Submit competitive tenders within tight deadlines
• Monitor project progress and update costs as required

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Estimator
• Specific experience in cladding and roofing is essential
• Strong knowledge of materials, systems, and industry practices
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Able to work independently in a remote setting
• Strong communication and IT skills
