I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Paint SMART Technician to join a well established and busy operation. This role will suit a technician who takes real pride in their finish, understands manufacturer standards, and values customer satisfaction just as highly as technical ability.
Overview
The Role: You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality paint repairs, working efficiently while maintaining excellent standards throughout the repair process.
Responsibilities
- Preparing vehicles to a consistently high standard
- Preparing and priming bodywork in line with manufacturers' specifications
- Mixing, colour-matching, and painting repaired areas to a high-quality finish
- Polishing completed work where required
- Identifying and advising the Bodyshop or Service Advisor of any additional work during repairs
- Maintaining strong product and technical knowledge
- Delivering exceptional customer service that drives repeat business and referrals
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and accurate job administration
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Saturdays required on a case-by-case basis only
Salary & Benefits
Basic salary up to £35,000 (depending on experience)
Monthly bonus up to £1,500
Stable, long-term position within a professional environment.
