We are recruiting an experienced Zone Manager to manage, grow, and develop a defined dealer territory across North London to Colchester. This is a field-based sales and relationship role, focused on driving volume, profitability, and finance & insurance performance across a network of retail partners.
THE ROLE
- Take full ownership of a geographic zone, working closely with motor retailers to:
- Drive sales performance, penetration, and profitability
- Promote a full suite of motor finance and F&I products
- Maximise opportunities across retail and wholesale finance
- Identify and develop new business channels
- Deliver training, coaching, and performance reviews
- Implement structured Finance & Insurance development programmes
- Produce and manage territory business plans and forecasts
- Support retailers with pricing, systems, and process compliance
- Ensure full adherence to FCA regulations
This role offers a high level of autonomy and influence, working directly with senior retailer stakeholders.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Proven experience in motor finance / automotive F&I / field sales
- Strong understanding of dealer operations and finance products
- Ability to develop retailers through training, coaching & reviews
- Commercial mindset with strong negotiation skills
- Confident presenter to groups and senior stakeholders
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage your own diary
- Comfortable producing business plans, forecasts & performance reports
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint & Word
- Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
ROLE DETAILS
- Field-based role covering a defined North London territory
- Regular travel within zone
- Occasional overnight stays required
- Reports into a Regional Sales Manager
- No direct line management responsibilities
