Vacancy – Vehicle Paint Sprayer – Harrogate Salary: Basic – £40-45,000 (Dependant on experience) OTE £50,000 Our client, a privately owned independent Used Car dealership with a fantastic reputation, is looking for recruit an experienced Paint Sprayer/Supervisor A HUGE opportunity to work with a fast growing, independent used car retailer with plans underway to expand across the North of England. They sell hand-picked, quality used cars with great specification and superb provenance, so standards are high Delivering outstanding, honest and reliable customer service every day. Key Tasks and experience for a Vehicle Sprayer: Prepare vehicles to be sprayed in the standards expected from manufacturer Mix paint to ensure a perfect match Spray painting vehicles to above standards Quality check on completion ensuring there are no defects Assist team/work colleagues to get the job completed with the same high standards The Ideal applicant will be able to produce a high quality of paint spraying from start to finish and you must have experience in water based paints You will be an experienced Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician with a stable history and must hold a – City Guilds qualification or equivalent You will work to a high standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques The Person: Candidates will demonstrate: Strong communication skills for customer service and team communication. Handle all vehicles with due care and attention ensuring that customer care/satisfaction is maintained at all times. Awareness of and adhere to all the Housekeeping and Health and Safety regulations Candidates will ideally have: ATA qualification or be a time served technician (ATA not essential) NVQ Level 1, 2 & 3 Experience in a bodyshop/accident repair environment Our client is passionate about continuous improvement and building an environment where everyone feels valued, appreciated and able to reach their full potential.
