Job Description
Motor Vehicle Technician
Franchised Motor Dealership – Dunstable
Our client, a franchised dealer in Dunstable is looking for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join its team.
Salary
Basic upto £35,000 depending upon experience
OTE £47,000 uncapped
Hours
Monday – Friday 8am – 5.30pm
Saturdays 8am -12pm paid as additional, 1 in 3
About You
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with technical knowledge – irrelevant of brand, to work at pace
A team-player who is comfortable operating with set processes and procedures
A qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry recognised level 3 qualification
Ability to carry out MOT's is desirable, but not essential as full training will be given
Motivated, dedicated and organised with a focus on Health & Safety in the workplace
Be Tech savvy with confidence in using an iPad
Must have experience as a commercial vehicle Technician
The Ideal Service Technician
The ability to carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles and brands
Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, which may include some warranty approved work in line with our brands (subject to experience / training level)
Be confident in MOT testing duties (if qualified)
Completing work from job cards and electronic write ups through franchise platforms
Electronic vehicle health checks (EVHC's) and video health checks
Guide and Support Apprentice Technicians as and when required
