The Solution Automotive Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with St Annes College Grammar School (SACGS) to source the right candidate for this opportunity.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS3 & KS4 English Teacher to join our team on a 0.4 contract, working Thursdays and Fridays.

About the role
  • Teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Working with small classes, including pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • Planning and delivering well-scaffolded lessons that support a range of learning profiles
  • Adapting teaching to meet individual needs while maintaining high academic expectations
  • Assessment and feedback aligned with GCSE specifications
  • Contributing to a supportive and collaborative staff team
About you
  • Is qualified to teach English at secondary level (QTS or equivalent)
  • Has experience teaching KS3 and KS4 English
  • Has experience of teaching pupils with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, processing or communication needs)
  • Is confident in using differentiation, scaffolding, and inclusive strategies
  • Is calm, reflective, and able to build strong relationships with pupils
  • Values both academic rigour and pastoral care
