We're recruiting on behalf of a family-run independent garage that has built an excellent reputation for quality workmanship, honest service, and looking after both its customers and its team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician who's ready to take the next step into a supervisory position without leaving the tools behind. You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of workmanship while supporting the team, organising workflow, and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
- Lead by example as the workshop's senior technician.
- Allocate and prioritise work within the workshop.
- Provide technical support and guidance to fellow technicians when required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
- Maintain excellent communication with the service team regarding job progress.
- Help create a positive, productive working environment.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic skills.
- Someone who wants to remain hands-on and enjoys technical work.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- A team player with a positive attitude and excellent attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence.
