Our client, a leading motor retailing group, is looking to recruit an experienced and dynamic Head of HR.

£50k Basic Salary plus £5k Bonus (Depending on experience)

The Head of HR will be a key member of the executive team and will oversee all aspects of the HR department, driving the development of HR strategies that support business goals, culture, and employee engagement. This is a senior leadership role that requires a balance of operational efficiency, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of people management.

  • Lead the HR department, providing guidance, coaching, and support to the HR team.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that align with the company's vision and business objectives.
  • Drive organisational development through talent acquisition, employee development, retention strategies, and succession planning.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive company culture focused on employee engagement, growth, and well-being.
  • Oversee performance management systems, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Provide expert advice to senior leadership on HR issues, including employee relations, compliance, and talent management.
  • Lead organisational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication.
  • Manage HR budgets, processes, and systems to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure legal compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role within the automotive industry (Head of HR, HR Director, or similar).

Must have CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma.

Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and compliance regulations.

Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that support business objectives.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

A collaborative leadership style and the ability to influence and inspire others.
