Franchised Motor Dealership - Dunstable
Our client, a franchised dealer in Dunstable is looking for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join its team.
Salary
- Basic up to £35,000 depending upon experience
- OTE £47,000 uncapped
Hours
- Monday - Friday 8am - 5.30pm
- Saturdays 8am - 12pm paid as additional, 1 in 3
About You
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with technical knowledge - irrelevant of brand, to work at pace
- A team-player who is comfortable operating with set processes and procedures
- A qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry recognised level 3 qualification
- Ability to carry out MOT's is desirable, but not essential as full training will be given
- Motivated, dedicated and organised with a focus on Health & Safety in the workplace
- Be Tech savvy with confidence in using an iPad
- Must have experience as a commercial vehicle Technician
The Ideal Service Technician
- The ability to carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles and brands
- Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, which may include some warranty approved work in line with our brands (subject to experience / training level)
- Be confident in MOT testing duties (if qualified)
- Completing work from job cards and electronic write ups through franchise platforms
- Electronic vehicle health checks (EVHC's) and video health checks
- Guide and Support Apprentice Technicians as and when required
