Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team in Manchester.
Salary: £26,000 – £32,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 5.00pm or 9am to 5.30pm (30 minute lunch)
The role of the Accounts Assistant is to support the accountant and the wider management team.
For this position the role will have a focus on bank and balance sheet reconciliations, requiring a high degree of accuracy and a good degree of numerical ability.
Within this role, duties include processing daily cash and card takings and assisting with the sales ledger and purchase ledger to help ensure the smooth running of the team.
This is a successful and busy motor retail business and you will be an important part of the accounting team and expected to bring enthusiasm and a good work ethic to the office.*Experience in a motor trade accounts role is preferable.
