Solid Swivel Company Ltd, Cradley Heath, would like to recruit an experienced CNC & Machine Shop Setter Operator. Established in 1910, the Company has a long history of manufacturing quality engineered products here in the midlands and is a renowned local employer.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Programming, setting and operating of CNC milling machines and Lathes for safe operation.
- Setting-up and safe operation of conventional drilling, milling, turning, threading and other machining processes.
- Checking of components against Engineering Drawings and/or work instructions after machining.
- Undertaking training as required for the role.
Relevant (Preferred) Knowledge & Experience:
- General setting & operating of conventional drilling, milling, turning, threading processes.
- XYZ Lathes (XYZ Controller)
- Mazak VMC – 4 axis (Mazatrol Controller)
- Leadwell VMC – 4 axis (Mitsubishi Controller)
- Deckel Maho DMC (Heidenhain Controller)
- CAD/CAM applications & software
- Fork Lift Truck Driving
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly Rate - Dependent upon knowledge and experience.
- 36 days holiday per year.
