Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in the installation of Solar PV systems, working closely with our team of roofers on residential and commercial projects. You will be the lead electrician on-site, responsible for all electrical aspects of the installation and for resolving any technical issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, connect, and commission solar PV systems in compliance with current regulations and standards
- Work collaboratively with roofers and other team members to ensure seamless project execution
- Take the lead on-site for all electrical and technical matters, including troubleshooting and system testing
- Ensure all installations meet The Solar House’s quality and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service, acting as a professional and knowledgeable representative of the company
- Complete necessary documentation, including installation reports, system testing results, and compliance certificates
- Maintain a clean and organised worksite and uphold health & safety practices at all times
Requirements:
- Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, or equivalent)
- Experience with Solar PV installations (desirable but not essential – training can be provided)
- Strong understanding of domestic and commercial electrical systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical knowledge
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for renewable energy and delivering a first-class customer experience
- Full UK driving licence
