Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in the installation of Solar PV systems, working closely with our team of roofers on residential and commercial projects. You will be the lead electrician on-site, responsible for all electrical aspects of the installation and for resolving any technical issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, connect, and commission solar PV systems in compliance with current regulations and standards
  • Work collaboratively with roofers and other team members to ensure seamless project execution
  • Take the lead on-site for all electrical and technical matters, including troubleshooting and system testing
  • Ensure all installations meet The Solar House’s quality and safety standards
  • Provide excellent customer service, acting as a professional and knowledgeable representative of the company
  • Complete necessary documentation, including installation reports, system testing results, and compliance certificates
  • Maintain a clean and organised worksite and uphold health & safety practices at all times

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, or equivalent)
  • Experience with Solar PV installations (desirable but not essential – training can be provided)
  • Strong understanding of domestic and commercial electrical systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and technical knowledge
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for renewable energy and delivering a first-class customer experience
  • Full UK driving licence
