opportunity for an Events Supervisor to join our highly successful team at
Firmdale Hotels in our vibrant Soho Hotel.

As an Events Supervisor, you will play a
pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of events at our hotel. Your
confidence and engaging communication style will be key in delivering
inspirational service to our guests. Working closely with our Events team, you
will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of events,
ensuring every detail is meticulously planned and executed.
Please note this role will be offered on a fixed term contract (maternity cover)
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the Events team, providing guidance and support to
ensure high standards are maintained. - Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and
deliver tailored solutions. - Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to all guests,
addressing any concerns promptly and professionally. - Manage event setups, from room arrangements to audio-visual equipment,
ensuring everything runs smoothly. - Oversee the execution of events, ensuring timelines are adhered to and
all aspects are handled efficiently. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure all event-related needs are
met. - Maintain accurate records and reports related to event operations and
client feedback. - Continuously seek opportunities to improve event processes and enhance
guest satisfaction.
What you Need:
- Experience in supervising a team, preferably within the hospitality or
events industry. - A passion for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Confidence in your abilities and strong interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
simultaneously.
