What you\’ll be doing
- Delivering furniture safely and professionally to customers\’ homes.
- Keeping customers in the loop with pre-delivery communication, so they know exactly when to expect you.
- Ensuring that furniture is delivered to the room of choice and leaving no rubbish behind.
- Working alongside your team and senior managers to provide feedback and improve service standards.
- Represent The Sofa Delivery Company values and those of our brand partners in everything that you do.
- Comply with all driving laws as defined by the government and all company policies and procedures.

Ready to kickstart your driving career? Join us as a Trainee Driver at The Sofa Delivery Company, where you’ll embark on our in‑house Driving School programme! During your first twelve weeks, you’ll drive a 3.5‑ton van as we prepare you to upgrade to your 7.5‑ton driving licence. Don’t worry if you’re new to driving a 7.5‑ton vehicle – we’ll guide you through the entire process. From covering the costs of your training and medical assessments to offering time off for your theory, hazard tests and driver training, we’ve got you covered. Once you’ve completed your training and passed the necessary tests, you’ll be promoted to a 7.5T Driver role, with a pay increase to match! It’s a win‑win, and we’ll have you delivering with confidence in no time. With our 4‑on, 4‑off shift pattern, 7 am – 7 pm, you’ll have plenty of time to relax, recharge and enjoy life outside of work.
