Responsibilities
- Complete all deliveries into customers’ homes in a safe and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with the customer prior to delivery to ensure that they know you’re on your way to their address.
- Ensure furniture is delivered to the room requested by the customer and that we do not leave them with any rubbish to dispose of.
- Represent The Sofa Delivery Company values and those of our brand partners in everything that you do.
- Work with your team and senior managers to provide feedback and continually improve the standards of service we offer.
- Carry out daily inspections of allocated vehicles and equipment, informing the line manager of any defects/missing items immediately.
- Comply with all driving laws as defined by the government and all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Ready to work as part of a supportive two-person team.
- Held a valid driver’s licence for at least 12 months with less than 6 points.
- Great with people and enjoy helping customers.
- Comfortable installing and lifting heavy furniture in different home settings.
- Take pride in your work and value safety – of yourself and those around you.
