Responsibilities

• Deliver furniture to customers’ homes in a safe and professional manner.
• Communicate effectively with the customer prior to delivery to ensure they know you’re on your way.
• Ensure furniture is delivered to the requested room and that no rubbish is left behind.
• Represent The Sofa Delivery Company values and the values of our brand partners in everything you do.
• Work with your team and senior managers to provide feedback and continually improve service standards.
• Carry out daily inspections of allocated vehicles and equipment, informing the line manager of any defects or missing items immediately.
• Comply with all driving laws as defined by government and all company policies and procedures.
• Follow the 4‑on, 4‑off shift pattern (7am‑7pm) to maintain a healthy work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• Hold a 7.5T licence, Digi Tacho, CPC card and a valid UK manual driving licence (minimum 12 months, max 6 points).
• Great with people and enjoy helping customers.
• Strong time‑management skills and thrive on variety.
• Comfortable installing and lifting heavy furniture in different home settings.
• Take pride in your work and value safety for yourself and others.
• Ready to work as part of a supportive two‑person team.
